Brooklyn Brewery from the New York City neighborhood of Williamsburg is one of the pioneers of the American craft beer scene. Since its founding in 1988, it has delighted beer lovers worldwide with distinctive beers such as Brooklyn Lager or East IPA. During a visit to Seeon, a special collaboration was created together with BrauKon: a craft-brewed brew that combines the New York spirit of innovation with Bavarian brewing tradition. On site, recipe ideas were exchanged, hops and yeast were combined, and a beer was created that bears the creative signature of both partners – internationally inspired, locally rooted, and brewed with true passion.

This special collaboration has resulted in a golden-yellow Hellen Bock that combines elegance and depth in a unique way. The recipe lives from a harmonious malt profile that releases fine aromas of blossom honey, roasted almonds, and buttery biscuit. Even in the aroma, a delicate sweetness unfolds, reminiscent of warm honey, supported by a soft, almost creamy malt body. On the palate, the Bock reveals itself with a flattering mouthfeel, subtle bitterness, and an elegant interplay of sweet honey notes and a fruity-floral white wine bouquet. The finish is warming, soft, and reminiscent of summer notes of white wine, hay meadow, fresh sponge cake, and light bread. This fine Bock pairs perfectly with classic dishes such as roast veal, roast chicken, or a hearty cheese and bread snack.
