Braumeister Edition #102: Twins Brew - September 2026

Braumeister Edition #102: Twins Brew - September 2026

Sometimes a beer doesn't start with a hop variety or a beer style, but with an idea.

For the Braumeister Edition #102 , Brewmaster Daniel Buchner drew inspiration from the Swedish metal band Twins Crew and developed a beer with plenty of character, hops, and energy.

The result: Twins Brew.

Why is the beer called Twins Brew?

The name is no coincidence.

The Swedish metal band Twins Crew was founded in 2007 by twin brothers Dennis and David Janglöv. Their music, their energy, and the band's distinctive visual style provided the inspiration for this edition.

And what would suit Twins better than a Double IPA?

Not only the beer itself, but also the can design is inspired by the world of Twins Crew album covers, making the edition a real eye-catcher for beer fans, music lovers, and collectors.

What does Twins Brew taste like?

Twins Brew is a full-bodied Double IPA with intense grapefruit notes, pronounced bitterness, and plenty of character.

This is due in part to hop varieties such as Simcoe, Tango, Citra, and Centennial, which give the beer its intense aroma.

Beer style: Double IPA
Alcohol: 7.9% ABV
Original gravity: 18.5° Plato
Bitterness: 70 IBU

Experience the inspiration live

The story of Twins Brew doesn't end with the can.

On September 19, 2026, Twins Crew will take the stage at the Camba Autumn Festival in Seeon.

Anyone who has tried the beer should not miss this evening. Perhaps there will even be an opportunity to raise a glass to the new edition together with Brewmaster Daniel and the band. 🍻
